River lily

The flower on the right is the same one I posted as a drippy bud one week ago. Today it's in full bloom and others up the stem are coming out. I have photographed the inflorescence from behind to capture it back-lit.

Today was Margot minding and I'm thrilled to report great advances in toileting management. Not a nappy or wet pants in sight. Doesn't mean there's nothing to clean up once she's gone.
