The Cake

A small bake off this afternoon; Nigella's Lemon Polenta cake for His Lordship's birthday tea tomorrow.
I have blipped the ingredients in advance as evidence that all was good at the beginning should anything go wrong 'twixt entry and exit of the oven.

And all is looking good at the exit and with the lemon syrup poured over the top, the cake will keep until tomorrow when all that will be required is for HL to have enough puff left to blow out his forest of candles after his cycle run, matching years with miles.
