Much better day

Yesterday was a tough day but I didn’t post text until this morning because I had some sort of a glitch yesterday night when I tried to. I actually had written my blip earlier in the day as a way to help me process it and added it this morning.. 

Met with the prime for a bid we are submitting. We will be bidding as the highest quality, higher cost bidder. I reviewed the proposal and I think it is quite good. The prime is British. We as a company have decided to use British English but with the Oxford comma. Every time I saw they didn’t use the Oxford comma I twitched! It is so ironic that British English doesn’t make more use of the Oxford comma. 

And yes, I am such a nerd. 

The DC unemployment office is working hard on my claim. I got two actual phone calls from them today asking for additional information. 

Bristol City Council and Odessa, Ukraine, met in 2024. Odessa asked for emergency fire equipment. “ Avon Fire and Rescue Service plans to deliver two fire engines, a hovercraft and vital rescue equipment to Odessa, where hundreds of fire stations and vehicles have been destroyed.” They are also sending personal protective gear, water rescue tools, and road traffic collision equipment.
