A London Day

Apart from a failed attempt at ring shopping in Hatton Garden in the morning, we’ve had a great day out in London today.
We met N for lunch at a food market near his office and ate in the gardens at the Barbican.
Next we walked to Covent Garden and then visited the National Gallery, which we enjoyed.
After that we walked to St James’s Park, viewed Buckingham Palace and then went out for pre theatre cocktails.
Our theatre trip was to see Fawlty Towers at the Apollo Theatre. It was brilliant and very, very funny. It was an amalgamation of all the best bits from the tv show. The characters were well acted and very like the originals. Extra funny when you know what lines are coming up!
