Swan?

It was an Ugly Duckling Chicken or Grouse but now it's glazed I think it's rather lovely :-)    A nice thing to pick up after a long and not wonderful day.

A very quiet one at Ruth's.  She awoke with a bad head and we had to cancel this morning's long arranged appointment.   She did sleep a bit after but remained most out of sorts.  There's a lot of complications for her at the moment one way and another, all rather overwhelming.   It was hard to come away but I had to get home as I'm taking Jamie it an appointment in Liverpool in the morning.   I had Clara for company as I drove back.  She's trained up from Brighton after her resits.   A lift with me seemed an obvious option, much better than the late train into Tywyn.
