Oban
This shellfish shed is a busy place during the summer months.
We spent a few hours in Oban for a number of reasons, fortunately all was done by late morning and we caught the 12.15 ferry back to Craignure. A day of showers and sunshine, more of the latter this afternoon and a good time to have another go at strimming in the garden. The strimmer is a good few years old and sometimes it gets the better of me and today, a first in nearly thirty years of using it, I lost the spring from the spool. I’m sure, and hope, there is a modern way of dealing with the cord, ours is maddening at times, more so when I loose patience with it. Anyway we found another spring, as you do, and it was fine. All smiles again.
