Material Girl

Mrs C was trying to make a dress, however neither of the two pieces of material she had thought about using were quite big enough for her to be able to cut out all the pieces required. Oh well, back to the drawing (cutting??) board.
I’ve spent most of the day on the computer, continuing the long and arduous slog of changing my email address on sundry apps and websites. I also expanded the remit somewhat and decided to close off any accounts that were no longer applicable. Like, why did I have an account with a theatre in Harpenden? I know we saw a show there once while we were on holiday, but I don’t recall ever setting up an account with them!
The amount of work involved in updating an email address or deleting an account ranged from the sublime (enter new details and click save) to the ridiculous (contact the organisation and ask them to delete my details, then enter all sorts of codes just to confirm I am who I say I am!). And then there were a couple of organisations who point blank refused to change the email address. I have to delete everything under the old address and then set up a whole new account with the new email.
As I have tickets for shows and concerts from some of those organisations, I think I’ll wait until I’ve actually been to see said shows and concerts before doing anything that might wipe all existing details…
