Grass roots Rock…..

Another full on day.
Sent Kev down the road to finish hauling yesterday’s silage bales home before the crows had them full of holes.
I headed off down the road with the mower again to cut another field of grass. Left my co pilots at home as the field was too rough.
Only slight mishap was when the mower howked up this rock . Luckily it went under the bed and not through the mower/conditioner so no damage. After a bit of swearing, lifted said rock and chucked it in the wood.
Back home by 3 pm , quick coffee then went next door to bale the end rigs of another field I cut on Tuesday night. Then back home for the loader tractor and trailer to cart the bales in for wee brother to wrap.
Was finished that job by 7.30 so went down the road to feed the heifers and fix a fence.
Home via the chippy for tea as Mrs F and kids still away on holiday. Nearly died of shock- £9.90 for a large fish supper, salt and sauce. Needless to say I then opted for a small one. Still £7.60. Tatties must be a hell of a price per ton and all fishing boats must be millionaires .
Aye right…….
