Fight! Fight!

Our last full day in France and we travelled from Angers to Luc-sur Mer on the Normandy coast north of Caen. On the way we stopped for a picnic lunch in a delightful place on the Lac de Rabodangers where we also were able to take a much needed afternoon swim. 
Our last Logis in Luc-sur-Mer was also  a delight on the seafront (once we'd driven round and round to find a recently vacated parking space). We took a walk along the seafront and the wooden pier from which we watched a couple of seagulls fighting over a small crab that one had caught. The adult won. Following a seaside beer, we retired to the Logis for a delicious fish supper.
Tomorrow, an early start for the 20 minute drive to Oistram for the 8.30 ferry to take us back home to Blighty. It has been a very enjoyable and memorable French holiday just like the ones we did  30 plus years ago when the kids were young.
