Blue

Mrs Catspaw and I made another opportunity to visit the Sussex Wildlife Trust reserve at Brickfield Meadow just before lunchtime today. We were rewarded by numerous sightings, not least this glimpse of a female Common Blue (Polyommatus icarus). The photograph cannot do justice to the magical sight of this butterfly fluttering through the grass in the meadow.
