Meadow Cornflowers in an Ikebana Vase
I had hoped to take this photo before but today was the first opportunity I had had to set up the shot.
The flowers had survived well, the weed was drooping. Not all the flowers I'd picked last Saturday had made it. The white and burgundy coloured cornflowers certainly didn't.
A very pleasant afternoon sitting outside at Gill and Geoffrey's before they left for an organ recital at Leicester Cathedral. We were driven back inside by unexpected rain.
