Cowes Week

It’s the one week of the year when Cowes comes to life, especially if sailing is your thing. It isn’t mine but I usually pop down for a couple of hours to check out the atmosphere. There didn’t appear to be much racing going on. En route back to my car, I liked the image of the bowling green (the bowlers had paused to eat a picnic!), the, very quiet, funfair and the church in the background.
