Caught in the rain

And what I thought was my cagoule turned out to be waterproof trousers. So there were 4 people sheltering under a tree and only 3 cagoules. So after 10 minutes I suggested that the 3 of them go find a pub/restaurant, and send someone back with a cagoule for me. Great plan but they could have sent back a less girly cagoule.

The place they found was a b&b. The lady said that she didn't do food but was happy to offer us tea, coffee, beer and cheesecake which we gladly accepted. As we were tucking into that she came back and offered to cook us lunch if we were happy to wait 20 minutes. We were, and lunch was very nice. The bill for the whole lot was €52. Much less than we would have paid in a restaurant and we were served by the lady, her husband and their daughter. What lovely people.
