Santa María la Real de Valdediós
These photos are backfilling, and are not posted for today (07.09.25). They were taken yesterday at the same time as the photos from San Salvador, because the two churches are one minute´s walk apart.
Santa María is a monastery with a church incorporated, and is romanesque - in this case from the 13th century.
Main shows a capital from the main west entrance. It´s in its natural colour.
The first five extras show arches from other entrances to the building. Extra 6 shows something Trump would probably want to copy for Mar a Lago - I´ll not comment further on it; nor on extra 7, beyond saying that I don´t know what it is. 8 shows a coat of arms in the floor, in the body of the church, and 9, which I like, shows a wall and window in the cloister,
