Top deck

I was trying to figure out what makes the view from the top of the bus, and the front seat in particular, quite so nostalgic, and I think it must be to do with the specific elevation from which one is seeing the world. 

The Minx and I took the bus into town, this evening, to meet Hannah from work before the three of us caught the tram from St Peter's Square into Chorlton, where we were meeting Charlie for dinner. 

We all enjoyed a couple of pre-dinner drinks at Fell Bar, which is the sister of an establishment in Kendal. It was a nice spot, actually, with a surprisingly good happy hour deal that we were in time to make use of. 

We'd planned to eat at Momo but they didn't have a table, so instead we went to Domus, where the Minx and I ate a few weeks ago. The food there is so good I was quite happy with the change of plan!
