Signs....

I ate my first bramble today, a sign that summer is coming to an end.
Wednesday today so it was nice to be back in church and my usual routine, good to see everyone again too. I popped into the Rectory afterwards to see the last few things being completed. It does look good and fresh for its new residents moving in, in just a couple of weeks.
This afternoon I hit a wall and just had to go for a sleep. I woke a couple of times but couldn't get my eyes open or today myself to get up. In the end I forced myself awake in time for dinner. Not sure what's up, hopefully I'll sleep tonight and that will sort things out.
I got the hosepipe out this evening and gave the back garden a good soaking, it's so dry that the soil in the pots is shrunk away from the edges. The pond was low so I've topped that up too, I 'm sure the fish will be pleased.
We watched the end of the first episode of Karen Pirie, it's progressing well but I'm finding her a bit irritating. Hopefully that will change.
