If you're going to San Francisco...

Spent the day exploring San Francisco, first visiting Alcatraz (which was surprisingly tranquil and very interesting as it has been kept natural and virtually as it was and not turned into a kind of theme park - although my husband was most disappointed that there wasn't actually a 'Wife Cell'!), then we got a good overview of the city via two open top bus tours followed by a good wander around Fisherman's Wharf. Considering we only had the one full day there, we certainly managed to pack a lot in!

All the pictures I took were pretty much the same as any you could find on the Internet so I picked this one for today's blip - one of the prison rules which we bought a magnet of to stick up for our kids' benefit. ;-)
