Olympic Dressage Championship

Headed up to Nelson today to do some chores and shop for a gift. Some of our students (and daughters of a friend) were taking part in a dressage event up at the Equestrian Centre on Rough Island so I said I would try and make it in to see them compete. I arrived just in time to see the first round of the competition.
They rode in a team of 4 - the youngest of which is 10 and the oldest is 14/15. They rode beautifully and did themselves proud.
The two close up shots are sisters and I love the expressions on both their faces because 1) G is a beggar to get a smile out of and 2) B is just classic

Was pretty impressed with the bow from the horse too :-) Well done to T for getting him to do it
