Garden Spider

There’s a trip to Llandudno this afternoon - primarily to catch up with Ffin y Parc’s summer exhibition having missed the opening on Friday. I do enjoy these mixed showings with their variety of artists - some familiar, others new discoveries. There are a few I’d really like to buy - but our finances are fully stretched right now, so they will have to wait …..

I’ve packed my camera bag with the intention of a West Shore wander, but it’s just so windy - and besides, energy levels are even lower today. So it’s a necessary food shop then back to the garden where it’s more sheltered.

Even here, photographing a spider in her web is a little ambitious as frequent gusts threaten to displace her. Still, I eventually get an almost crisp shot of this tiny garden spider, bravely clinging on against the elements - better large!
