Mum's .......
.............. rose - I bought her this for Mothers' Day probably about 15 years ago (instead of cut flowers) and it never fails to flower at least twice a year.
Manfred the Marvellous Mower and I managed to get all the grass cut yesterday and there was our little yellow rose just starting to open again in a patch of sunlight.
In the extras today: Flora and Fauna of Nova Scotia.
1. A beautiful deer, some flowers and dead/burnt trees.
2. Woodland (where I saw the deer), a pretty little birdie and some sunshiney ferns.
3. A rocky river and some flowers outside the City Hall in Sydney, Cape Breton.
4. Some jellyfish and a stormy sky over a lake.
I don't know why but I was VERY surprised to see jellyfish - there were a LOT.
If you remember the synchronised terns from about a week ago - the jellyfish were around that same pier (which also a-piers - see what I did there!!!) in the extras of that same day.
Settling back into the routine of home ...... had a fabulous trip but it's good to be back as well.
