Nailed it!

Today is start of my summer-holiday-renovation project. The plan is to renovate my home office and the room behind it.

Phase 1: stripping it all.
Floor, ceiling, walls. Everything has to be removed.

All went well until I stepped into this huge nail.
I pulled something from the wall and when that came loose I automatically stepped backwards, at full speed into this nasty bugger.

My first thought: hé that little shelf sticks to my shoe. And I pulled it away. I then concluded what just had happened. By then my action was confirmed by the pain and blood on my foot.

So, day 1 of the project comes to an early halt. I’m done for today.
I’ve contacted my physician and was advised to keep a close look at it. When it starts to look and feel like and infection I have to get in touch again.

Update: It’s now late in the evening, it still hurts but I think I’m ok. Tomorrow my project can continue.
