Elephant hawk moth caterpillar
I’d vaguely noticed something was munching the leaves of my fuschia - a lot of the stems are now completely bare - but it wasn’t until today that I saw the culprit. This caterpillar is huge - about 5cm long and very fat - so no wonder it was getting through all the leaves!
Out for brunch with the boys to do some planning for our trip to Japan later this year, and then we dropped Adam off at the station to return home. After a short break at home, I was off to pottery to turn my bowls from last week and put a handle on the mug. All good and hopefully they’ll be some nice pieces to glaze next week.
