Jersey Tiger

This morning, I noticed what looked like a bright orange butterfly fluttering about in the garden. However, when it alighted on the Camellia I realised it was actually a Jersey Tiger moth.Soon after, I read on-line that there has been a great influx of these beauties this  summer. It's the third one I have seen; the other two being in Winchester.
I had visits from two different estate agents to value my Mother's house.
Then we went to check on my Aunty's flat, which has not attracted any potential  buyers despite it being a very attractive property. It seems the market in the Harrow area is rather stagnant.
This evening, we attended a meeting of my Mother's old  book club, whose members all live in her road. Martin and I seem to have become honorary members, which we find very flattering. We discussed the July book which was Rose Tremain's "The Road Home". Most people  had enjoyed reading it. The sociable  evening was a pleasant break from the clearing out I have been doing.
