Bumble bee at the allotment

'We collected our friend 'G' from work, and drove to her allotment in Southbourne. Stopped on the way for a pastry from Ms Bakery, and a sourdough (theirs is best).

First visit to the allotment. 'G' raided it to give us flat yellow beans, lovage, beetroot, courgette, rosemary, blackberries.

Have been busy for the last couple of hours making a potato, lovage, beetroot leaf, carrots, garlic…… soup. And steamed the beans. Member of the.Enjoyed the soup and beans with a couple of slices of sourdough. Better than a fancy restaurant.

Early night, and early start tomorrow (3 yearly mammogram).
