Football
I am so tired am in bed just after 9pm. Our wee wood had a few trees down so this morning I was out early hauling tree branches off the road. My neighbour had a huge oak blocking the road but the Council truck arrived and soon cleared the road leaving him with piles of huge logs in his garden. He then came and cleared my bit of road with a chainsaw. Y trees were smaller so I was able to drag most into the garden.
The family arrived late morning . Caireen brought lunch ( filled rolls and strawberry tarts) and David had his chainsaw.
Liliana wanted things for school so Foloh took her and her Mum to Inverness , leaving David to tackle more trees and me to look after the wee dog plus supply David with cups of tea etc. After they left , we gathered se real wheelbarrow loads of sticks and some large logs and took them up beside the incinerator. Next I had to make up beds as Foloh’s family are coming for 8 days arriving tomorrow.
On Monday ,yesterday we had two lots of viewers. I knew the storm was bad so e mailed suggesting they chose another date. But they tturned up on time. We had no electricity and they viewed the house and then wanted to see the garden. It was raining and dangerously strong wind. But out we went. Our electricity has been on and off tonight but now it has been on for just over an hour so I hope that is fine now.
Liliana bought a football for Cuillin ( see extra ) and one for herself. Foloh was a keen goalkeeper when he was young and we have a few silver cups he won so perhaps he will enjoy playing with her.
