Acorns

Lazy day, I didn't get up until nine, thanks to a couple of flies irritating me. I actually thought it was only seven o'clock but what do I know, I don't have a clock in my bedroom anymore. A change in weather conditions has brought the wind back again and temperatures are lower, so I stayed in, playing and reading mostly but got out a bit later to cut the grass and do some minor gardening, I noticed that the acorns has arrived, in huge numbers. I wonder what that means, survival precautions maybe? 
A walk was had and there's a definite hint of autumn in the air today.
