The Great Outdoors

What a perfect day for exploring! Finally the blue skies and sun have continued through to my days off so I set out north to the Perth hills region with a friend for a spot of exploring. Mundaring is about one hour north of Perth and there are some beautiful parks and trails in the Jarrah forests up there.

We only had a couple of hours and I wasn't appropriated dressed for a decent hike so we went and visited the Mundaring weir (Perth's main water supply) and then to the North Ledge lookout which gave gorgeous views out across the Jarrah Forrest.

Once I have a car I'll definitely be back to this area to do some proper walks!
