Last day in Filey

We signed out of the apartment before 10 am, giving us plenty of time to explore. We walked along the front, then found a lovely family-friendly park with pedalos,  bikes for hire and electric child-sized cars as well as dinosaurs and a coffee shop as well as a large rose garden sponsored by lots of town clubs. The pocket money prices and friendly atmosphere all convinced us how lovely Filey is. 

The rain came on, so we headed up a steep hill to town and found a cafe for our lunch. 

Then time to leave, so we headed to Denby Dale whilst Cno1 returned to Hull.  After a pit-stop we continued home to Maldon.  Full of gratitude and time to reflect on our lovely family weekend away.
