Home (again)

I had a German lesson, this morning, after which we set off north to Kirkby Lonsdale, five weeks to the day since we left for France. 

Dan had left everything in reasonable good order, so after an initial tidy up and a detoxification of the fridge, we were set for a very relaxing afternoon, involving some extended napping!

We had hoped to tackle the grass but it was too damp. However, the rest of the garden was looking lush, including some beautiful apples on the tree that comes up next to the decking.
