Fungi

My granddaughter and I had a terrific time last night! She wanted to go out for dinner, which is sort of unusual, so we went to McMenamin’s Rock Creek Tavern - a quintessential Rock Creek (westernmost Portland region) fixture. We both ate bacon cheeseburgers and then spent the rest of the evening reading (me) and watching videos (her) and generally resting our full bellies.

After I took her home this morning, I went for a walk at the Tualatin Hills Nature Park. Not
Much to see today except for a lot of children attending nature camp, and groups of people going for walks. But a bit further into the park it was quite peaceful. The only thing I saw of interest was this fungi on a tree. I can’t ID it, but it’s got some really interesting marks on it.
