Naples part I

Little Agu safely gathered in after his night out and we were off for more engraving with Geoff. This is an ink rubbed in version of my first ever plate. I started another today, which got a bit symbolic/shambolic but I am beginning to understand the different mindset you get into with engraving compared to painting or sketching. There is something paced and careful about it all, but then you can get free and explore the metal a bit more. Fascinating.

Only one more week to go before I get really frantic, so I am really appreciating everything this summer has offered. Big things I hope, lots of changes maybe, I am trying to engrave a future for my little family.
