Wheel chaos...

...as a result of Storm Floris in Nottingham today.

Disaster hit on Carrington Street, the outdoor coffee drinkers and smokers were denied sitting on the bridge.

To be honest, I always thought it an odd place for a bit of al fresco dining. Lots of people going to and fro to the station, busses puthering out diesel fumes, etc... Each to their own I guess?

Having said all this, it was just mildly breezy in the East Midlands, certainly not anywhere near as disruptive as in the far north.

Ps this wasn't the only snap I took today, the other was of an eviscerated pigeon but I thought I'd spare you that. You know by now how I can't pass up the opportunity presented by a grot spot snap?
