Marine colours - scarf from Pakistan
This is for Blipper Apothecary7 who posted actual marine objects of similar colours and that reminded me of one of my favourite scarves bought in Pakistan.
Today Mr C phoned the hospital as he’d still not had any results from his investigations three weeks ago. We are so pleased that they report no cause for concern. It’s a great relief as you can imagine. Now we can get packed for our little break and get the insurance sorted. And pay the balance of our other big trips in the autumn without fearing no refund if we had to cancel.
I’ve been trying not to fret about the outcome and I didn’t think I was but I haven’t been sleeping well so I hope for a good sleep tonight. Early this morning I dreamed I was having a nightmare but it was ok as I could feel Mr C’s arm on my shoulder. I thought in the dream he couldn’t really be there because it was morning and he’d have got up - but I put my hand up and felt his arm there. Then I woke up to find he had indeed got up! A good omen I think?!
#3 daughter and family have arrived safely in Belgium. Meanwhile the Whitley Bay lot got on their bikes to the station in southern Germany and got a train to Munich. There they are sitting in big coats having beer with Phil’s best man and his wife who are on a short break there from Ireland.
I hope all of you north of the border have stayed safe and suffered no damage from Storm Floris. There are some big gusts here but it is bright and sunny. I’m not sure about going for a walk though as quite a few trees are down. Poor Jenny missed out on her festival day as the trains were cancelled.
I must book Goldsworthy and a train for Sept and also organise a day in October to get up to Berwick for Cedric Morris.
