We went to Pierre's cousin's house for lunch today. Oh my, did we eat! Started off with an aperitif of crisps, fish eggs on blinis and saucisson. We had beers and pastis with this course.

Then, at the table, before the main course, more little bites: gazpacho shots, tuna-stuffed cherry tomatoes and grilled Corsican sausage.

Main course was barbecued cote de boeuf with roasted potatoes. Gorgeous red wine was the accompaniment.

We drank limoncello as a trou normand and then it was amazing patisserie for dessert!

Coffee followed by pétanque. Pretty great day.
