Mischievous Jake

I babysat today while Jake's mama had a hair appointment. He was on the move the entire time and we were exhausted when it was time for him to leave. He NEVER stops and he always finds something to get into, but he is always cheerful and easy going. I have never seen such a fast crawler, and the look on his face says it all.."I'm on a mission..." Today I am grateful for the time with Jake and an unexpected visit from Stephanie, our NYC daughter, and her Australian boyfriend, on their way to start the Hood to Coast run. It's a huge event here in Oregon and teams come in from all over to compete! The teams start up at Mt. Hood and end up at the Oregon Coast tomorrow afternoon! We will see them after the race on Sunday!
