Grey Street

I was in Newcastle before 8 o'clock this morning. The shoulder injury I was bothered with last winter has been niggling again this week and so decided to visit the physio for some treatment to nip it in the bud. After my appointment I popped to the theatre to exchange some tickets for a show next month. My plan had been to have a mooch round the shops but I was feeling a bit under the weather so decided to head home.

This is a photograph of Grey Street which is the most beautiful street in Newcastle. It was built in the 1830 by Richard Grainger and runs south from Grey's monument, itself built to celebrate the life of Charles Grey, the 2nd Earl Grey. The Theatre Royal is the building on the left of the shot.

It has taken me some time to upload this entry. I was struggling to keep awake and then managed to delete the text twice!! Here's hoping I'm firing on all cylinders tomorrow!
