The garden grows.......
A beautiful Sunday, 20C in the afternoon, the forecast is for stormy weather from Storm Floris tomorrow but it is hard to believe just now as it is so nice.
Our church was packed this morning for Communion, so much so that we had to search for seats together. A nice problem to have in our community. The band led us in singing and they did a solo slot which was terrific.
Our friends and neighbours had their family home from Hungary, Martin their son works there for the reformed church, and has married an Hungarian lass and they now have three children who are growing fast. We support an orphanage in the Ukraine, just over the border from where Martin lives in Hungary, and although there has been no appeal, people have been donating to Martin throughout his holiday, so he now has over £600 to take back to them. Direct charity, I love that.
The garden is looking nice inan overgrown way, and I took a picture for blip today. I also picked some hydrangeas for a vase, might blip them tomorrow.
Have done a few household chores in the afternoon, mainly cleaning bathroom and toilet, always makes me feel virtuous!
