litl hikes

An early drive to Grasmere. I’d decided that croissant for breakfast and pie for tea wasn’t the healthiest of menus so popped to the Co-op to see what else I could spot for this evening. Half way round I remembered the basil and pine nut ravioli that I’d forgotten was in the fridge. Pleased to find that it was still within its use by date so I’m having that later.

Although it started wet the weather improved much earlier than I expected. More wetness from around the Gingerbread shop in the extra. I liked the young employee putting the signs out for the queue. Most people ignore them.

I’d intended doing housework in the afternoon ready for visitors on Tuesday. That’s now been changed to Thursday because Jane had forgotten about a birthday party on Wednesday.
