Celebration time

Wahay!! It's the weekend .. and, oh yes..I've managed 500 consecutive blips. I started off on a 365 project and now I'm here. I might as well carry on for the 2 year anniversary now. I'm not thinking beyond that yet.

Blipping's just amazing. I mean, I love photography, it's been hobby #1 for me for a few years now, but blipping keeps it fresh every day. Some days are a chore, sure, but mostly it's an absolute pleasure to be obliged to think creatively and look at the world through a real and perceptual lens every day. And it's the diary I've always wanted to keep. And all these great people around the world to share my hobby with. Thanks for all the encouragement folks.

Next stages in my daily photo adventure... I've got a cool domain and about to publish a geeky photography blog to give something back to fellow camera geeks out there. I'm also going to upgrade my DSLR - Pentax K5 and a superwide lens I think - no more mushy light painting shots this winter!!

Now I'm going to raise a glass of this fine merlot to Blipfoto and saving my life...
