Dragonflies

Even though it was gray and overcast with the occasional sprinkling, Kent and I went to Sutton Lake this morning and did some dragonfly hunting.

There were tons of four spotted pennants and needham skimmers It was just a matter of getting them to stop long enough to get a photo of them. Also there was a strong breeze so you had to get the swaying grass centered in your view finder!! I could have spent all day taking photos but after taking about 60 I told Kent I thought I had enough to have gotten some good ones.

When we got home, I went out back to give MiniMe her afternoon treat and was just so taken with how comfortable it was outside now that the front had come through. That was it for me. I sent the rest of the day on my chair on the porch reading a book and had MiniMe sleeping on my lap.
