Wild Coneflowers

Gray-headed coneflower found growing near the lake (hence the white background). So why six stems and five flowers? It seems that one flower is completely obscured by another, which I didn't notice when taking the picture. They are not the same genus as the ornamental coneflower that is so attractive to bees and butterflies at the moment.

Still very hazy due to wild fires but that should slowly lift by the weekend.
