Sad day.

This was my last day working with my boss.

I worked with him on the Intensive care unit back in 95 when I qualified.

When I went to theatres on 2000 I worked with Dave again and he became my lead practitioner.

In 2005 I went into recovery and he followed me in 2008 to be my boss again.

I've known him 18yrs same time as I've been married and qualified. I will miss him. I can't say that he's a great worker lol but he's always been there for me. It's going to seem so very strange him not being around. He's like a piece of the furniture that won't be there anymore.

I had a few tears but I will still see him occasionally.

Good thing that happened today -

Spent a fair bit of time with the boss on our last shift together which was nice.
