Bom Jesus

The conference finished at lunchtime. After having a francesinha (Portuguese sandwich) and a rest we hopped on a tuk tuk. It took us to the famous Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte. It didn’t disappoint. We then toured the old city. We had our final meal in what has become known as “our bar” (my friend and I have been there almost every day!) along with three Australian friends. It was 38° today and is forecast to get up to 41° at the start of the week.
