Shed clean
This morning, as it was cool and dry, we decided to do some gardening but were quickly derailed when I discovered evidence of fresh rat activity in the shed, in the form of rat droppings. So, we hauled everything out on the lawn to give the shed a thorough clean, whereupon the heavens opened and we had to endure a heavy rain shower. Then we had to sort, clean, dry, and replace all the shed contents.. I had no idea I possessed so many plant pots. But I no longer have such a vast collection as I became quite ruthless after washing the first hundred or so....
Later I tackled all the plant labels.
We sprinkled chilli flakes on the floor and shelf of the empty shed as rats are supposedly deterred by the smell.
My photo is the " after " picture even, though it still looks a bit muddled! At least we know what's there now, and it's all been cleaned. There's even already floor space cleared for Stormin Norman's house when he hibernates in October.
