Sunny in Manc.
Woke up to sunshine, something of a rarity in Manchester. So, it was rollup our sleeves and get the outside jobs done.
We both worked really hard. I barely stopped for over 7 hours solid. I painted (2 coats) on Hayley's shed, while J fitted guttering and a water butt on it. Glad those outstanding jobs are done. They both needed doing in the dry weather and the shed needed two coats within 8 hours.
I hadn't packed any decorating clothes, so borrowed Hayley's painting trousers, aT shirt of J's that I convinced him could be thrown away, and ..... As I'd only got a brand new pair of shoes with me, I wrapped them in dogs poo bags and hoped no-one would call!
Meanwhile in Italy Jodie and family went on some crazy high speed water ride, in fact, Dean and the two older boys did it twice! We did something like it in NZ and loved it. They loved the novelty of being served their food by a Robot..... I'm not too sure about it, but sadly it seems to be the way of the world these days.
Reggie won his race at the Gatley sports day, so he was very proud of that.
After their morning walk I'm afraid the dogs were somewhat ignored, but they didn't seem to mind as they could enjoy the good weather in the garden. Collage as an extra.
