Sparrows

Just recently, along with the blue tits, there have been flocks of sparrows visiting the bird feeder. Today, there must have been about twenty, all darting around and down on the path, so entertaining to watch. It's been a sunny afternoon and I had a short walk to the local supermarket for fresh fruit and veg, milk etc. Prepped for a stir-fry for dinner, and then had a long, relaxed face time with G, in Jersey, who actually had some free time! A rarity for her, with such a busy life schedule. Starting a new book later 'American Dirt' by Jeanine Cummins, an author I have recently come across and whose writing I very much enjoy.
