Talking to the Admiral

Almost an EB, more specifically haven’t had time for a better picture/subject really. I’m not sure what I’ve accomplished today but it’s been quite busy!

Fairly early this morning when it was quiet, I was in the garden and saw Mr Butterfly sitting nicely on the buddleia. I asked him very nicely in a soft quiet voice to hang on, if he didn’t mind, while I fetched the camera.

Just as well that he was compliant. The rest of the day has disappeared. Household stuff, swimming at 12, put the shopping away, got 2 loads of washing dry outside, went round to see Barbara and made arrangements for a small outing tomorrow to an NGS open garden, called round to check on progress of J who is out of hospital and recovering quite well, had a quick chat with Debbie next door and eventually had a video call with Nicoiseannie when we caught up on all sorts of things and planned for Tiny Tuesday.

So, the red admiral is my blip for today!
