I didn't sleep very well and so decided not to drive to Martin Mere. Instead, I went to Old Moor - much nearer - where it was 6C warmer than here.

The reedbeds are open again now after being closed for breeding bitterns & marsh harriers. I love walking in the reedbeds and so that was good!

I caught up with a few friends & then sat in the bird garden hide for a while. My fav pics of the day were the gorgeous long tailed tits.
