Perhaps if I had shut the gate . . .

. . . we would not have had so much straw on the lawn?!
 
But what can you expect when you have a mad farmer throwing bundles of straw off the back of his tractor!!  (First extra).
 
The main job today was harvesting the pears.  There were more than I initially thought, but a fair bit less than we expected shortly before today (see second extra).  The wasps got seven so we had to move to save the rest.  Mind you the wasps were getting silly drunk – third extra.
 
 
For a change I’ve been spoilt with silliness, most unusual in past months.  Getting back to normal perhaps.
