Peak Prairie
Flowers in the prairie are reaching full bloom, although I'm still not sure how best to show off their impact. This view is looking down its length from a slight elevation, towards the rejuvenated willow and the aspen grove beyond. The telephoto lens compresses the scene somewhat, I hoped that would concentrate the colour, but I'm not sure. The yellow coneflowers of course stand out the most.
Extra: Please Sing For Me. A grey catbird, with its black cap and rusty coloured behind. Not seen one of these before now.
